With the new system (that is Nontrinsic), anything can be submitted to the database. And we can store a lot of entries in the database… so be it. We have many uses for the database anyway.

It’s really all about if you could submit anything in the first place on Nontrinsic. If an entry were to break the terms, it would be removed right away anyway. But it’s pretty much rare.

What are the uses anyway? Well… as much as language gets useful.

Oh, and also uncommon characters. On macOS, I can type em dashes very easily. And curly quotes. And also obscure characters just from simple key combinations.

I kept using straight quotes because Electron apps don’t auto-replace with fancy quotes.

We just… judge the language.

Length could work, amount would work as well, but the quality should have the most impact. It shouldn’t be repetitive for each entry, shouldn’t be in quick bursts, and that each entry should be long enough to be a meaningful entry (like essays or whatever), and like… whatever.

I think the effort should be counted instead, not whether the entry is actually that nonsense. We don’t even have a proper definition of ‘nonsense’ other than ‘creative text’.

I mean, I write essays, I make dialogues, I submitted documents of my own… yeah, they get long, so naturally they get varied.

I think what I contribute personally is what I want the platform to be. Not just a ‘quotes’ platform, but pretty much just… a textual platform somehow.

[Nontrinsic is] just for "nonsense entries". Though professionally and academically, it's for "creative text entries".

Of course… we do be like that. Different words for the same things.

I kept being obsessed with the meta in the entries. Obsessions over databases, platforms, community… whatever. Of course, I’m just the steward, so these are just natural.

Fingerprints in the database if people download them: they’d know it’s all about Nontrinsic.

I guess the meta fingerprinting makes sense because you’ll never know where the entries will end up.
