Bhutanese passport!

A Bhutanese passport is a… document which authorises and facilitates travel and other activities in Bhutan or by Bhutanese citizens!

In the Kingdom of Bumthang, which constitutes a part of modern day Bhutan… feudal passports or ‘d-zeng’ were issued to court messengers in order to travel… from kingdom to kingdom! Diplomacy and mediating were currently— crucially important measures issues in pre-modern Bhutan chiefdoms.

Foreign travel passports are issued to citizens of Bhutan for international travel! [And] new Bhutanese passpoooooorts are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs!

Types of passpoooooooooooooorts:

• Ordinary passport is red, in Dzongkha Shin…thron passport
• Official passport is green, Pawchang passpooooort
• Diplomatic passport is bluuuuuueeeee, Denzhen passpooooort
